Biography
Richard (Dick) joined the firm in 2004. His practice focuses on
state and federal workers'
compensation. Additionally, he represents employees against their employers who discharge them for exercising their workers' compensation rights. For those clients who do not heal well enough to return to work, Dick helps them get
Social Security Disability benefits.
At The University of Michigan, Dick earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in 1968
and a Master of Music
Degree in 1970. While at The University of Michigan, he
enrolled in Army ROTC and was commissioned Second
Lieutenant in the United States Corps of Engineers. Dick
served a tour of duty in Vietnam and after returning
worked on his Doctorate in Music at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He then taught instrumental music in suburban
St. Louis schools for 12 years before returning to college and earning his law degree from St. Louis University in
1988.
